Job summary

Providence is seeking a per diem Medical Assistant II to support patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner in Spokane, Washington. The MA II performs all MA I duties and remains fully competent in the clinical needs for the assigned clinic, following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical MA training.
• Graduate of an approved MA apprenticeship or two years of military medical training.
• One year of clinical MA experience including vital signs, injections and meds.
• Washington MA Certification required upon hire; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under a licensed practitioner's delegation.
• Perform MA I duties and remain competent in clinic needs and policies.
