Job summary

Vivo Infusion in Boulder, CO is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for per diem coverage. You will welcome patients, assist medical staff, and deliver compassionate care in accordance with guidelines.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, updating charts, coordinating with providers, handling scheduling, calls, payments, and maintaining supplies. Qualifications include HS diploma, MA certification preferred, CPR/BLS, at least 1 year clinical and 1 year admin/customer service experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required before start date.
• 1 year of clinical experience required; 1 year in admin/customer service recommended.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide front-end support, including scheduling, phone calls, and payments.
• Room clinic patients in-person or virtually and update the patient chart with required information.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in the exam room as requested and support the Patient Services team with prior authorizations.
