Job summary

Vivo Infusion in Boulder, CO is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our infusion center team. You will welcome patients, assist clinicians, and deliver safe, compassionate care following internal and external guidelines.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical and administrative/patient-facing experience. The position is per diem with a Tue-Wed schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm, and a 401K with match up to 4% is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS required prior to start date.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical environment required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities in alignment with practice standards.
• Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update patient charts.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide administrative support: greet patients, scheduling, calls, and payments.
• Oversees and ensures efficient turnover of exam rooms.
• Assist provider in the exam room as needed.
• Collect and submit lab specimens as directed.
• Assist Patient Services with prior authorizations and documentation.
• Triage patient calls and document messages accurately.
• Order and manage supplies under the manager's direction.
• Disinfect and stock exam rooms and obtain required records.
