Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Mammography Technologist on a per diem/registry basis. You will perform mammography examinations under the Staff Radiologist, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety in line with departmental standards.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma, CPR certification, ARRT in Mammography, and IEMA license, with prior mammography experience and proficiency in word processing and general computer skills.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• ARRT in Mammography required.
• IEMA license.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
• Ensures patient safety during examination.
• Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.
• Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist
