Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Mammography Technologist for per diem/registry assignments. You will perform mammography examinations under a Staff Radiologist, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced radiology department.

The role requires ARRT Mammography certification, CPR certification, IEMA license, and prior mammography experience. Per diem hours vary with shifts and scheduling, including days with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT Mammography certification and CPR certification required.
• IEMA license required; Mammography experience preferred.
• Proficiency with word processing and computer skills; typing 25-35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
• Ensures patient safety during examination.
• Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.
• Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist
