Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist specialized in breast imaging to produce high-quality mammography images for physicians and health care teams. You’ll work independently, maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and safety while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Orientation of other staff may also be part of the role. Required are graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, CRT and RHM certifications, and BLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program prior to start date.
• CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist prior to start date.
• RHM-Radiology Mammography prior to start date.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Work independently with sound judgment to execute safe, precise procedures.
• Explain information clearly to diverse audiences and maintain patient comfort and cooperation.
• Adhere to regulations to ensure privacy and safety while delivering care.
• May orient other staff to the department.
