Must be an external candidate to be eligible to apply. Weekday availability is highly preferred.
A per diem employee must meet the following requirements. If there are no shifts offered on any given month, the employee will not be penalized.
Requirements:
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Radiologic Technologist and according to established policies and procedures, performs the functions of a Mammography Technologist. The Mammography Technologist is expected to practice safe procedures and adheres to radiation safety measures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
EXPERIENCE:
A technologist with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a mammographer. Must possess two years’ experience in performing mammography QA under the MQSA Standard. Must be ARRT registered, grad of Radiologic Technology Program. TOMO experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Walks and stands intermittently throughout the day. May lift and position patients and supplies up to 50 pounds. Ability to move patients from scanner table and transport patients in wheelchairs and/or stretchers. Ability to crouch, reach and lift to allow appropriate manipulation positioning and placement of ancillary equipment.
