Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent) is required.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required.
• RRT, Mammography registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains, reviews, and records patient history pertinent to the procedure.
• Instructs patients and explains the exam to baseline patients.
• Demonstrates accurate positioning according to department and ACR guidelines.
• Ensures films meet quality control standards for ID labeling and technique.
• Completes all documentation related to patient care, imaging exams and RIS procedures.
