Job summary

Dartmouth Health's Mammography Department at the Lebanon, NH campus seeks a Per Diem Mammographer/Dxa Technologist to perform breast imaging, ultrasound, stereotactic-guided biopsies, and DXA exams. Biopsy, breast ultrasound, and DXA experience are preferred but not required.

The role supports training cross-trained radiologic technologists and advancing procedural proficiency. Typical schedule is five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:45 am–5:15 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends on a

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical Mammography experience required.
• Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited program, based on ARRT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex breast imaging and DXA exams as well as Breast Imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Performs required quality assurance procedures at the designated intervals.
• Instructs and reviews the technical performance of diagnostic technologists. Instructs patients in breast self-examinations.
• Consistently ensure good patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
• Utilizes e-DH, RIS, and PACS to perform job functions.
• Maintain a second Mammography registry as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
