Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem schedule with same-day or next-day pay and opportunities for full-time hours.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care within the LPN scope, administering medications, documenting patient information, wound care, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. Local applicants only; EOE.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet physical requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
