Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Morgan County Correctional Complex in Wartburg, Tennessee. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope, under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Required Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain, current CPR, and the ability to obtain a security clearance with drug screen and background check. Per diem pay rate is $31/hr, offering a rewarding role in a secure, structured setting.

Qualifications

• Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR is required.
• Per diem availability to meet staffing needs.
• Corrections environment experience is not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of RNs, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to health needs.
• Coordinate care and document patient status and treatments.
