Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our per diem team across the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Positions offer hourly pay of $37.00–$39.00 with per diem scheduling and same-day or next-day pay options.

The role requires an active LPN license, at least one year of facility-based nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year is required, with flexibility to meet physical duties involved.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
