Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.
We offer $37-$39/hour, same-day or next-day pay, a hiring bonus after completion of 2 shifts, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling. Active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience are required. Local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM–11:30 PM to assist with shifts.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- PPD test within the last year must be current.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collect and document patient information.
- Provide wound care and patient education.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
