Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer meds, document patient information, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

Local applicants only. Active LPN license, minimum 1 year facility experience, CPR/BLS, and PPD within the last year are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last 12 months.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements
