Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. This role offers $37.00-$39.00 per hour, with same-day or next-day pay and a hiring bonus after two shifts.

As part of our per diem nursing team, you will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate care with the healthcare team. Local applicants encouraged; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
