Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is recruiting experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem shifts offer competitive pay and flexible scheduling with same-day/next-day pay options.
We seek reliable LPNs with active licenses, at least one year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and the ability to meet physical requirements. Perks include RapidPay, weekly pay, and a hiring bonus after two shifts, with local staffing coordinators
Qualifications
- Active LPN license is required.
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- PPD test within the last year.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collect and document patient information.
- Provide wound care and patient education.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
