Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem work offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

We provide same-day or next-day pay with RapidPay Card, an onboarding bonus after 2 shifts, and local staffing coordinators available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM. Active LPN license and facility experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
