Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem shifts across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, and document patient information.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD (Tuberculin skin test) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
