Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. The position offers hourly pay of $37-$39 and per diem scheduling.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administering medications, documenting patient information, wound care, and coordinating with other clinicians. Local applicants only; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD (tuberculin skin test) within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
