Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem work with same-day or next-day pay options.

Active LPN license, minimum 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and PPD within the last year are required. Competitive pay $37-$39/hour, weekly pay, hiring bonus after 2 shifts, and flexible scheduling. Local applicants only. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• PPD test within the last year

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
