Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads. You will work within the LPN scope, administering medications, collecting patient data, and coordinating with the care team.

We require an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. The role offers pay of $37.00-$39.00/hour, per diem shifts, and flexible scheduling with potential full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
