Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our per diem team across Hampton Roads. Expected duties include nursing care within the LPN scope, medication administration, patient documentation, wound care, and coordination with other care providers.

The position offers per diem hours, with same-day or next-day pay, a hiring bonus after two shifts, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling to fit local needs.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• At least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
