Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. This role offers competitive pay and flexible scheduling, with same-day or next-day pay options and a potential for full-time hours.

You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, document patient information, support wound care, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD TB test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
