Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem assignments across Hampton Roads. The role features $37-$39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay and flexible scheduling.

Per diem opportunities include local shifts with coordinators available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM. A hiring bonus is offered after completion of 2 shifts, and daily duties include meds administration, wound care, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Active LPN license.
• Ability to meet physical requirements without weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
