Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem coverage in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, collect patient data, and educate patients while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications include an active LPN license, at least one year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/ CPR. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and potential full-time hours in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• At least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
