Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

Per diem roles offer weekly pay, same-day or next-day pay with RapidPay Card, and a signing bonus after two shifts. Local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM-11:30 PM to assist with scheduling. Full-time hours may be available.

Active LPN license with at least one year of facility experience, BLS/CPR, and PPD within the last year are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
