Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant 2 / Health Unit Coordinator for its Pre Surgical Testing team. This per diem role supports patients and works with nurses and providers during the pre-op testing process.

You will be trained to draw labs at outpatient facilities, with orientation reinforcing the skill set. Availability Monday–Friday, 7a–5p, at least one 9-hour shift per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing.
• Current NH LNA license required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and information flow at the desk area to clinical staff and families.
• Under RN direction, perform clinical and technical functions for pre-op and post-op patients.
• Complete order entry, coordinate computer downtime and patient information changes in the system.
• Greet patients and families and provide information for their surgical encounter.
• Document care provided and report RN observations of patient status.
• Prepare and organize perioperative medical records per HIMS specs.
• Maintain clean, safe environment with stocked supplies and functioning equipment.
• Serve as a preceptor for new employees.
