Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant to support the Pre Surgical Testing team. Per diem; 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri; at least one 9-hour shift per week; work with nurses and providers to assist patients through the pre-op process.

This role includes clerical duties, ADL patient care, lab draws training, and orientation reinforcement. Must have LNA certificate, NH LNA license, BLS, and one year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LNA Education Certificate and NH LNA license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and information flow at the desk area.
• Perform clinical and technical functions for pre-op and post-op patients.
• Assist with order entry and patient information updates.
• Greet patients and families and prepare for surgical encounters.
• Document care and report RN observations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with stocked supplies.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff.
