Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a lab support technician to join our Zebrafish facility. You will assist with animal husbandry, spawning, and maintenance in a collaborative lab environment dedicated to zebrafish research.

The role includes processing specimens, collecting blood samples, and handling data and labels. Prior laboratory experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Coursework toward a college degree preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions related to demographic data, test requisitioning, labels and reports. Processes specimens.
• Obtains blood specimens from patients. Obtains specimen requirement information.
• Operates the pneumatic tube system (PTS) to ensure timely delivery of laboratory specimens.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
