Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years healthcare or related field experience, or combination of applicable experience and education.
• Clerical or client services experience.
• Experience with State and Federal regulatory compliance including MSP, EMTALA, ABN, HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and label laboratory specimens accurately and timely.
• Handle and disburse laboratory data and patient results.
• Register outpatient laboratory encounters with complex demographics and insurance, and medical information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and competency on required registration functions.
• Utilize multiple computer applications to complete patient encounters.
