Job summary

UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nurse Clinician for the PRN Pool/On-Call role within Interventional Radiology. The RN will assist with preparation and recovery of patients undergoing neuro and vascular procedures, including thrombectomy, thrombolysis, angiography, and embolization.

Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, documenting the nursing plan, teaching patients and delegating tasks to Nursing Care Technicians, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• 18 months minimum RN experience.
• Active KY RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for neuro/vascular procedures and assist in recovery.
• Provide total, patient-centered nursing care and document the care plan.
• Coordinate with Nursing Care Technicians and physicians to ensure safety and quality of outcomes.
