Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH seeks a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Radiology team. The role offers 3–4 shifts per month, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends or on-call duties.

The PA/NP will work with Interventional Radiologists, practicing with autonomy in evaluating and managing patients undergoing image-guided procedures and peri-procedural care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as a Physician Assistant and PA licensure are required.
• Minimum 3 years as a licensed PA or NP in interventional/procedural settings preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages patients in ambulatory, inpatient and procedural settings.
• Performs biopsies and image-guided procedures and related bedside tasks.
• Orders and interprets tests; documents admission, progress, and discharge notes.
