Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington seeks a per diem Interventional Cardiologist to join our cardiovascular team at Federal Way and Auburn clinics. You will perform primary PCI and ad hoc PCI for ACS patients, provide general and interventional backup, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires MD or DO, ABIM in Cardiovascular Disease, unrestricted WA license (or eligibility), DEA for prescriptive authority, BLS and ACLS, and

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
ABIM in Cardiovascular Disease; BC/BE.
Unrestricted WA medical license or eligible.
DEA license with full prescriptive authority.
BLS and ACLS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Commitment to patient-centered care and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Cover cath lab and primary PCI for ACS at Federal Way/Auburn locations.
Provide general and interventional cardiology backup for other physicians.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
Participate in call schedule: interventional 1:4, general 1:8.
