Job summary

AltaMed Health Services seeks a Staff Physician in Internal Medicine to provide comprehensive medical services to patients in Los Angeles, CA. The role emphasizes AltaMed's Team-Based Care for population health and evidence-based practice within an in-person setting.

Applicants must hold a valid CA medical license and board certification (or board-eligible) with the goal of board certification within 18 months. DEA credentials and ongoing licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CA medical license and Board certification in Internal Medicine or board eligibility.
• Experience and training as a physician required.
• DEA credentials and ongoing licensure maintenance required; BLS at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to AltaMed patients.
• Deliver care per Team-Based Care Model focused on population health.
• Maintain licensure, continue learning, and comply with professional standards.
