Job Summary:

The per diem Infusion RN provides direct care to clients in their home setting.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred:

• Previous home infusion experience is desired.
• PICC Certification and Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• CRNI certification is preferred.
• ONS certification is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• Completion of an IV certification course.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per-Diem

Essential Functions:

• Participates in program development, quality assurance, and delivery of care.
• Remains familiar with all pumps, access devices, drugs, and central lines.
• Develops and maintains relationships with referral services and the client base.
• Determines the appropriateness of patients for home therapy.
• Performs patient care when needed and on-call.
