Carson Valley Health is seeking a Security Officer - Per Diem to help maintain a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors by conducting patrols and enforcing hospital policies. You will respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and support the security program across our campus.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, must be 18+, and a current BLS certificate (or obtained within 90 days).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• BLS certificate (or may obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Preferred six months hospital security experience or one year security experience.
• No felony convictions or crimes involving moral turpitude or weapon misuse.

Responsabilités

• Patrol CVMC facilities to deter crime and ensure safety.
• Respond to emergency codes and report incidents promptly.
• Monitor access control and assist with visitor management.
• Prepare detailed Security Incident Reports before shift end.
• Oversee lab specimen delivery with HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody.
• Assist with de-escalation and patient/visitor support.
