Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC is seeking a PRN Housekeeper to join its Environmental Services team. You will help clean patient areas and common spaces following safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork with leadership to improve patient experience, flexibility in PRN shifts, and adherence to uniform and appearance standards. A high school diploma is preferred with healthcare or housekeeping experience desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred

Responsibilities

• Adhere to expectations around safety and sanitation.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
• Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.
• Identify under-serviced and/or unserviced areas and how services can be provided.
• Adapt cleaning processes to add efficiency and effectiveness around the center.
• Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.
