Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Hospital Cook in West Orange, NJ. The role focuses on preparing meals for patients, staff and guests on a 6:00AM–2:00PM schedule across per diem shifts, with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience.
• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and sanitation policies.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for patients, staff and guests.
• May assist with general cleaning of cooking and eating areas.
• In Manager's absence, supervise dietary staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Uphold sanitation, safety and infection control standards.
• Maintain quality food production and proper portioning.
