Job summary
BAYADA Hospice in Toms River, NJ is seeking compassionate Per diem Registered Nurses (RN) to join our hospice team. The Hospice office serves clients in Ocean and Monmouth counties with care delivered at the home on a per visit basis.
Prior home health or hospice experience is preferred, but not required. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing palliative care to help clients remain at home. BAYADA offers weekly pay, benefits and potential career growth.
Qualifications
- NJ RN license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Home health or hospice experience preferred
- Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned
Responsibilities
- Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Administering medications, wound care, treatments and comfort care
- Monitoring client conditions and reporting changes to supervisor
- Following up with and documenting doctors' orders
- Performing client assessments as necessary
- Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends
