Job summary

Altus Hospice in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide hands-on care to patients at the end of life, following care plans and collaborating with the nursing team to ensure comfort, dignity, and respect.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant with at least one year of experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Holds current unencumbered CNA certificate from the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice exp a plus.
• CPR certification current if state mandates.
• Driver's license with vehicle insurance and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the care plan to support patients and families.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, hygiene, bedding, and dressing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and compassionate support.
• Support families with guidance and reassurance during end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and agency systems.
