Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Part-Time Per Diem Infusion Nurse to provide direct home and infusion-suite nursing care across metropolitan-area locations in Texas. This role requires RN licensure, 2+ years of experience, IV certification, and strong venous access skills.

Travel locally to patient homes and infusion sites is expected. You’ll collaborate with clinicians and care teams to ensure safe, patient-focused infusion therapy, timely start of care, and thorough documentation, all while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent
• Current RN license in state of practice with 2+ years RN experience
• IV certification and central line care experience
• Strong venous access and phlebotomy knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide direct home and infusion-suite nursing care, including IV insertion and administration of medications
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and document vital signs and assessments
• Perform venipuncture and manage venous access (peripheral and central lines)
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe home infusion therapy
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing coordinators, and internal teams
• Schedule start-of-care visits and follow-up nursing visits
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and progress documentation
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians and stakeholders
• Ensure regulatory and company standards compliance
• Drive within the state to patient residences and infusion sites
