Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team per diem in California. You will review OASIS, ensure accurate ICD-10 coding, and collaborate with our clinical staff to maintain high-quality documentation for home health patients.

Responsibilities include monitoring visit utilization, supporting quality improvement, and staying current with regulations and best practices. Per diem rate ranges from $110 to $130 per visit.

Qualifications

• Active Californian RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of clinical home health experience.
• Working knowledge of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and state licensure requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records.
• Current CPR certification with AHA.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments for completeness and compliance.
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing.
• Partner with clinical staff to resolve documentation issues.
• Monitor visit utilization and flag risks to management.
• Identify trends impacting agency outcomes and processes.
• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance.
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing education.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
