UCI Health is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy Technician to support basic medical, technical and administrative tasks in the endoscopy suite. You will process endoscopes and related equipment, assist with procedures, and support front office operations by handling records and patient files.
Strong customer service and English communication skills are essential. Minimum 3 years in a hospital GI/endoscopy setting with Medical Assistant credentials and current BLS certification are required.

Incumbents perform basic medical, technical and administrative support services for assigned area. Incumbents process routine endoscopes, non-disposable endoscopic equipment, and may provide standby technical assistance for routine endoscopic procedures. May assist the front office operations by answering incoming phone calls, maintaining records, preparing reports and updating patient files.
