Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington seeks a compassionate per-diem Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with an interest in geriatric medicine to join a team of caring, established providers. The role focuses on geriatrics within the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model, delivering comprehensive, elder-centered care.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., predominantly outpatient with some nursing home and home-based care.

Job description

Seeking a compassionate, Per-diem Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with an interest in Geriatric Medicine to join a team of caring, well-established providers at Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. You'll be part of a program that delivers comprehensive care and services to elderly patients under the PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model, which is designed to help keep older adults as healthy as possible.

• Monday to Friday schedule; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Predominantly outpatient care, some nursing home and home care
• 1+ years' experience preferred. Will also consider new graduates
• Compensation is $150.36 per hour
• The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them

Where You'll Work

Providence PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a federally recognized program and the first of its kind in Washington, serving older adults since 1990. With 4 centers across the Seattle metro area, Providence PACE provides comprehensive, community-based care for adults age 55 and older. The program offers fully coordinated Medicare- and Medicaid-covered services and much more, including all medical and nursing care, rehabilitation services, home health, long-term care, and social support, helping participants remain as active and independent as possible.
