Job summary

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Geriatric department. The role requires nursing process expertise and collaboration to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on the assigned unit.

RN licensure in New Jersey and BLS are required. As of 2019, BLS/ACLS/PALS must be through the American Heart Association. This position is on-site at St. Joseph's Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure by the State of New Jersey required.
• BLS required at time of hire.
• Certifications for BLS/ACLS/PALS must be granted through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process in collaboration to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within St. Joseph's Health System and on the assigned unit.
