Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for patients, cafeteria guests and catering guests according to daily menus; ensure items are prepared with attention to modified diets.
• Serve food to patients and guests with accurate portions and follow standard portion control.
• Organize and stock supplies, condiments, and utensils; maintain FIFO and notify kitchen staff when running low.
• Answer department phones, take messages, and prepare late trays as needed.
• Verify daily menu with cook and update Menu Board and Café Menu Line; label foods with major allergens.
