Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem float nursing assignments in our Day Shift. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, current PA RN license, and BLS certification. Prior bedside experience and unit competency maintenance are emphasized in this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients.
• Recognizes the need for and initiates collaboration/communication with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and takes actions to pro actively resolve patients needs.
