Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care at our Allentown facilities. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

We value effective communication with patients and families, coordination of care, and ongoing participation in performance improvement initiatives. A PA RN license and BLS are required, BSN preferred; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• RN license in the State of Pennsylvania (PA) required/upon hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families to education and support treatment plans.
• Coordinates patient care and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
