Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Per Diem Float Pharmacist for the Central/Northern New Jersey area to perform professional duties related to prescription processing. Primary responsibilities include dispensing medications, patient counseling, and immunization administration.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with no nights or weekends; positions available across Bridgewater, Lakewood, Bayville, Red Bank, Englewood, Hackensack; compensation offered as hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in New Jersey.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Current pharmacist license in New Jersey

Certified immunizer or willing to become within 3 months of hire
