Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Partner for its Float Pool to provide bedside care across multiple units. You will support patients with ADLs, monitor conditions, and assist with a variety of tasks under RN/LPN supervision.

This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, exposure to diverse inpatient settings, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. CPR certification and CNA-like competencies are preferred, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with moving patients using Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• CPR certification required or obtained per policy.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct patient care under RN/LPN direction.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic patient care tasks.
• Monitors patient conditions and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and compassionate care environment.
• Performs and records vital signs, I&O, and specimen collection as directed.
